mme nous l'annoncions ce mardi dans notre journal, le milieu de Palerme Granddi Ngoyi (26 ans) a été prêté jusqu'à la fin de la saison à Leeds United (20e de D2 anglaise). Il n'avait joué que 70 minutes en Serie A avec le club sicilien cette saison

Ce joueur est en train de se perdre c'est clair, je regardais par hasard si il jouait à Leeds; résultat: il a joué un seul match depuis qu'il est là bas , il cire le banc.....
S'il était resté chez nous il n'en serait surement pas là, encore un qui a vraiment fait un mauvais choix de carrière...

En même temps c'est compréhensible qu'il soit parti, il avait fait une bonne saison. A sa place je serai plutôt resté en Ligue 1 plutôt que d'aller dans un club un peu spécial en 2e division en plus où il s'est perdu.

Ngoyi arrived at Elland Road midway through last season, signing on a double loan-deal with Sol Bamba, but he failed to make much of an impact.

He managed just one appearance for the Whites, owing to some long-standing injury problems, and whilst Bamba has reportedly been signed from Palermo on a permanent basis, it does not look as if Ngoyi will be heading back to Yorkshire.

His lack of appearances and ability to impress has not lowered the interest in him though, with one club reportedly keen on signing the holding midfielder.

According to a report in TMW, Europa League regulars and Greek high-achievers Asteras Tripolis want to sign Ngoyi this summer.

They are playing in Europe once again next season, and have targeted the 27-year-old former French youth international as a player to improve their midfield.

He has experience of European football, and has shown to have talent when not being kept on the sidelines by injury, making him a strong signing for Asteras, especially as Palermo look to have no qualms concerning his summer sale.

There are yet no confirmations that Leeds have entirely pulled out of the race to sign Ngoyi, but it looks as if he could swap failing to play games in the Championship for regular first-team football in the Europa League.
